The Wells Brand

I grew up around Texas cattle. Growing up on a dairy farm taught me about cattle and instilled in me a solid work ethic. About mid way through high school dad sold out, and from then on we raised beef cattle. I tell people the reason I went to college and became an engineer, was due to the dairy farm schedule of twice a day, everyday. Now, here I am running a ranch and a restaurant at the same time. So much for any time off!

When my father passed away suddenly, the ranch operation fell to me. We did not want to liquidate the ranch but wanted to carry on the Wells tradition of raising cattle on the land Dad worked so hard to make his own. 

I believe Dad would be proud. We now operate almost 800 acres of land, a cattle company, and a feed company; and it's all about producing the best beef in the world. It means so much to see this beef winning awards year after year! I am forever thankful to the legacy I have been handed.

When we first began selling beef just over six years ago, we wanted people to enjoy ranch-direct beef without all of the junk the other beef contained. However, it wasn't long before shirts and hats began being purchased locally and shipped all over the nation. Some of our best days are when people post vacation pictures from around the world and tag us to show the Wells merch they have on! We have a collection of great pictures from over the years. We hope the pictures keep coming in.

Now we have a vast array of shirts, hats, and other collectibles such as campfire mugs, cowboy-scented candles, and even custom-branded knives. 

These mercantile items are in addition to the freezer beef we sell in our store for customers to take home and enjoy with their own family's recipes. Our retail beef has become even more popular over recent years with the changes in FDA regulations of grocery store beef. People love trusting a local rancher with their family meals. 

The Wells brand has become a symbol of family, quality, and local hospitality.
